The powers and play style of the incoming DLC character Martian Manhunter, has been detailed by developer NetherRealm Studios.
Here, in a nutshell, are the full details that have been revealed.
Martian Manhunter can stretch his body using a special trait known as “Alien Malleability” in order to carry out combos from a distance. This, combined with the ability to transport, will surely make him one of the most powerful characters.

The catch is that he is weak at close range. He can air dash across the play area but that will cost meter. Though the character is a little slow, air dashes can be combined together to flit around in speed.
