If, like the rest of the world, you’re currently loving Rockstar’s latest offering of Red Dead Redemption 2, then you’ll probably want to know about the secret map.
In one of the missions, you are required to go the alleyway next to the Saint Denis church and find five mysterious writings scattered across Saint Denis. If you haven’t found them all yet, then we’ve got them here for you. Lovely, aren’t we? Special thanks to GameRant for this one too.
The first clue
If you go to the building just above the second “N” in “Saint Denis” on the Red Dead Redemption 2 map, you’ll see the writing written on the wall of a red building with white doors.
The second clue
Then, pop over to the Saint Denis market place where the local Fence and Trapper are. The writing is located in an alleyway behind a gate. Just look for the stacked barrels.
The third clue
After this, you’ll want to head over to the Butcher and General Store on the southwestern side of town. Go to the other side of the shops, and it’ll be there underneath an overhang.
The fourth clue
Head directly north of the post office, and you’ll find this clue tucked away in a corridor.
The final clue
The fifth and final clue is pretty close to the fourth. It’s on another wall of the same building. You need to go north to get to it. GameRant says that you’ll probably have to run around the building to reach it.
Once you’ve got all of the clues, you get a special map that points you in a vague direction. Basically, you need to head to a secluded alleyway to the west of the General Store and Butcher.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the event doesn’t come into effect until it’s the night. So advance time at the local saloon. Then, head to the alleyway for it all to be revealed.
If you want more, then cool – here you go. You can also go to Mexico.

Red Dead Redemption 2 prides itself on its expansive world and the almost-limitless exploration available thanks to its giant map, but you can go even further than the developers intended thanks to a glitch that’s been discovered.
A YouTube channel by the name of ZacCoxTV discovered a way you can actually get yourself to Mexico thanks to an outside-of-the-map glitch.

Posting a video of the successful attempt to get to Mexico, ZacCoxTV fans have gotten to speculating that there might be a reason why the glitch is possible…

I dont even know what to say, after hours of attempts I finally made it into Mexico in Red Dead Redemption 2, theres almost nothing there but there are many landmarks like the big arch, El Presidio and even the big rock formation where you do one of the treasure hunts!

Mexico isn’t the only ‘secret map’ that’s been discovered in the game, as you can also find yourself in Guarma if you play your cards right. Again, you can watch ZacCoxTV’s video to find out how.

What do you think about these ‘secret maps’? Is Mexico going to be DLC for the future of Red Dead Redemption 2, or is this something else entirely?
