Halo Infinite Is The Most Successful Launch In Series History

Halo Infinite is the most successful launch of the franchise’s illustrious history. Proving that there’s plenty of life in this old dog.

As revealed on the official Halo Twitter page, Halo Infinite has recruited over 20 million players for Master Chief’s latest and arguably most ambitious adventure yet. “With over 20 million Spartans joining us so far, we’re thrilled to announce that Halo Infinite is the biggest launch in Halo Franchise history.

To say that Halo Infinite is the most successful launch in the entire history of this beloved franchise is a massive achievement. Especially when you consider that this has been one of the most popular first-person shooters for two decades as well as being a flagship name of the Xbox brand.

Forza Horizon 5 also has impressive numbers

In comparison, Forza Horizon 5 has now generated 18 million players, which is very impressive in its own right. However, Halo Infinite has exceeded Forza Horizon 5 in a shorter space of time.

The impressive numbers for both Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 further proves the benefits of Xbox Game Pass. Furthermore, not only did both games launch on day one via the subscription service, but they were both available for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Which is no doubt a great way to keep those online player numbers up.

In our review of Halo Infinite, we said: “sheer thrill shines through at several points, proving that there’s still life in this 20-year-old franchise. It’s now up to 343 Industries to keep it that way.
