NukeClears managed to find out some Fallout 4 screenshots to compare them with its predecessor, Fallout 3. Screenshots of identical scenes were taken into account for the weigh up.
Although the comparison is not 100% precise, it gives you a clear idea about how much the game has progressed since the last installment came out. At least visually.

The first comparison pits your trusty canine friend from both the games. The change is quite drastic to say the least and it’s a positive one as well.

The second comparison takes you to the open world and pits you against some enemies. We must say the change once again is quite noticeable here as well. Especially the use of more colors.

We’re so thankful that Fallout 4 uses more colors. It just gives the game that extra bit of life. Don’t you agree?

Fallout 4 has a lot more flora and fauna and the added colors gives it the more realistic look out of the two.
