Rockstar Games has included pretty much every Easter egg imaginable in Red Dead Redemption 2, but you’ve got to give them an extra round of applause for adding in the ‘Distracted Boyfriend’ meme.
Included as a black-and-white mission-related image, the picture references one of the best memes of the century, and people are loving it. Check out the two images below.

Of course, being as hugely successful as it is, Red Dead Redemption 2 has spawned quite a few memes of its own – though none are as memorable as ‘Distracted Boyfriend.’

Despite the mammoth success of RDR2, Red Dead Online is failing to impress thanks to its heavy focus on microtransactions.
The online multiplayer version of the world of RDR, and its in-game spending leaves a lot to be desired. The game features two monetary tiers in the forms of either cash or gold bars. A typical mission could earn you about $4, or potentially around 0.01 of a gold bar. In theory, you could sink hours into the game without earning so much as a gold bar.

Oddly enough, thanks to the weird economy in RDO, it actually costs more to buy a can of baked beans than it does to sell a looted gold ring.

a can of baked beans: $1.20— アンビルズウチハ (@xaralmighty) December 3, 2018
Rockstar is being accused by fans of creating an experience purely as a cash-grab from players.
Red dead online looks how I expected, riddled with shitty microtransactions.
RDR2 was a great game but if you buy the microtransactions you perpetuate this predatory business practice.
Don’t buy them, don’t support it. If needs be, don’t play it until its amended.
