Deadpool 2 is getting a new edition just in time for the holiday season, and it’s being dubbed the “family-friendly” version of everyone’s favourite merc with a mouth.

A teaser trailer for Once Upon a Deadpool has just been released, and it’s essentially a remix of Deadpool 2 – told by Ryan Reynolds to actor Fred Savage.

Yeah, it’s a little weird.

However, Deadpool‘s 18+ rating has been reduced for Once Upon a Deadpool , with the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) deeming it suitable for ages 15+. For America, you’ll be getting it rated PG-13.

Speaking to Deadline, Reynolds said: “Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006.

“I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining.”

If you’re keen to check the remixed movie out then you’ll be glad to know that you’ll also be helping the charity ‘F*ck Cancer’ – which for occasion, has been renamed ‘Fudge Cancer.’

$1 from each movie ticket sold will be donated to the charity thanks to 20th Century Fox.
