Could Titainfall Come to the PS4?

At present Titanfall is an Xbox One exclusive, however developer Respawn Entertainment has hinted that Titanfall could one say come to the PlayStation 4. Lead artist Joe Emsile told Eurogamer that they’d love to be everywhere, but they are just starting out. And on the possibility of a PS4 Titanfall said:

“It’s definitely not out of the question, we have a huge appreciation for the fans. Coming out and showing it to everybody, we’re super nervous and wanted to make sure everybody loved it. We love all our fans, whatever console they support. So year. We want to make everybody happy, but this is where we’re at right now.”

Later in an interview with CVG Frank Gibeau, President of EA Labels spoke about the competition between Call of Duty and Battlefield, saying it is good for the industry. He also talked about rotation of franchises to compete with Activision, saying “The shooter rotation we think about now is Battlefield, Titanfall and Battlefront, and so we like those three brands going forward.” This in comparison to the numerous studios working on call of Duty to annualize the franchise.

Given EA’s plans, every three years they could end up leaving a hole in their PS4 line up or Titainfall will eventually make its way to PlayStation 4. Given current budgets, I’m thinking the later.
