Call of Duty: Ghosts to Use Dedicated Servers on PS4 and PS3

Two months ago Activison gave Microsoft the upper hand to announced that  Call of Duty: Ghosts will have  dedicated servers on Xbox One.

According to Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin, he confirmed that  Call of Duty: Ghosts will utilize dedicated servers across current-gen and  next-gen, meaning Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS4 and  PS3 will have dedicated servers too.

Rubin also confirmed that Call of Duty:Ghosts will give the player the opportunity  to hosted matches.

“Ghosts will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers. So no matter where you are the game will always be trying to give you the best online performance possible. There is also some great new tech in the matchmaking system that will place players in matches that have the best combined overall connectivity performance.”

Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch Nov. 5th for the PS3 and Nov. 15th for the PS4.
