Activision has had a long running franchise with their Call of Duty series. It has been mentioned that the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts will have the best graphics in the series, for PC.
Instead of using the current consoles PS3 and Xbox 360’s graphic assets, they will now be using the asset built specifically for PC, to steer clear of the graphic problems they have had before.
The Executive Producer of Infinity Ward Mark Rubin stated in a Kotaku interview, “PC is taking a different tack from previous games [in the series]. Now, PC has its own set of assets. It’s going to look better than any Call of Duty we’ve ever made on PC.”
Expect to see the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts to have even better graphics than ever before, due to the higher resolution.
He goes on to say, “They’re actually using an even higher version in many cases than the next-gen consoles, from a texture standpoint.”
