Borderlands 2 On Vita Features 2 Players Co-Op Only

In a post on the Playstation Blog, it was revealed that Borderlands 2 for PS Vita will be limited for only to two-player online multiplayer. The post also contained information regarding controls and other features.

The SCEA Third Party Production team confirmed that the game will only feature two-player online co-op play, it seems the limitation is due to technical restrictions as the decision was made late in the development cycle to focus on providing the best two-player-only co-op experience possible instead of four-player co-op. The game includes all characters including the DLC characters Gaige the Mechromancer and Krieg the Psycho, and the game itself runs in the vicinity of 30 frames per second. The controls are customizable, so you can remap them however you like, see below picture for default controls.

The game will also include the campaign packs “Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty” and “Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage”; the Vault Hunter Upgrade pack, and the Collector’s Edition Pack!

The game will be released this coming Tuesday, May 6. For more info and impressions check the blog post.
