Upcoming 2014 Call of Duty Will Be The “Best Ever Created”

It was revealed a few days ago  that this year’s Call of Duty is in development at Sledgehammer Games. This would make Activision moving to a 3 year cycle with the company leaving Treyarch’s presumed next Call of Duty in a 2015 time slot. Activison’s CEO Bobby Kotick, described the upcoming FPS as “perhaps the best Call of Duty game ever created.”

“For the first time, this years Call of Duty game, and future Call of Duty games, are being built on a three year development cycle,” the publisher also made mention of why development is being kicked off with Sledgehammer Games. ‘There are several advantages to doing this, the first is, of course, quality. This will give our designers more time to envision and to innovate.”

No further details were revealed quite yet on the upcoming title but for those of you who didn’t know, Sledgehammer previously collaborate with Infinity Ward to develop Call of Duty: Modern warfare 3. Rumors have begun to spread that perhaps this next installment of the Call of Duty series will pick back up within the Modern Warfare saga.
