Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Released A Day Early

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time is already being sold in the US despite its due release for tomorrow.

This is the second time in the last fort night that a game has had its street date broken. Last week Canadian retailer EB Games released Fire Emblem: Awakening (due out today) at least 3 days before it was due for release. Coincidentally both games are not due for European release for another two months.

With its broken street date there are already Let’s Plays for the game appearing on YouTube. It’s unknown if the publisher will take action against guilty retailers, but you can go out and purchase a copy now, alternatively you can wait until the official release tomorrow and download it via PSN. The retail copy of the game comes with a code for a free download of the Vita version. This follows the recent trend of giving copies of games available on both Vita and PS3 away for free.
