A game that has been on the mobile market for iOS, PlayStation Vita will soon be receiving the card battle video game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer.
Playdek revealed on the PlayStation Blog that Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer will be heading to the PlayStation Vita. Unlike other card battle games like Magic: The Gathering, gamers will be relying on decks they create when playing the game rather than starting out with a pre-built deck.
To put it simply, a deck-building game is a game where players take turns adding cards to their own playable decks. Players start with identical cards in their decks which places each player on an even playing field. In Ascension, you and your opponent will start with 10 cards in your deck and will use these decks to draw cards to create your hand.
Gameplay will allow gamers to battle against local AI or take part on multiplayer online. There has been no word as to when Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer will be releasing on the PlayStation Vita.
