PlayStation 4 Day-one patch is available to download now


For those who are going to get their PlayStation 4 on Friday, you can  download the system’s day-one software update – version 150 – on PlayStation.com aright now. Sony has posted the 308MB PS4 update early, to allow users to potentially beat the rush after getting back from the store.

You can find instructions for downloading, moving it to a USB stick and installing it on the PlayStation 4 are available on the same site. The day-one patch adds a lot of features that the console was sold on, including Remote Play with the PS vita, party chat, online multiplayer, the ability to play games as they download and others.

The PlayStation 4 launches this Friday in North America and in Europe on November 29th.
