It is confirmed that, after the bad sales and unanimously poor reviews for ‘Medal of Honor: Warfighter’
EA has confirmed to take the Medal of Honor series out of rotation altogether. EA COO Peter Moore had this to say:
“The game was solid, but the focus on combat authenticity did not resonate with consumers. Critics were polarized and gave the game scores which were, frankly, lower than it deserved. This one is behind us now. We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation and have a plan to bring year-over-year continuity to our shooter offerings.”
I believe Medal of Honor: Manshooter just wasn’t meant to be.
Since the “Medal Of Honor” [series] is done, EA has only the ‘Battlefield’ series to turn to for the yearly iterations it demands. There were also rumors saying “Battlefield: Bad Company 3” or also called as the ‘ New Bad Company‘ is under development ,but it seems there is nothing officially announced about it yet,and it seems that COD has the two series called ‘Modern Warfare/Black Ops’ , relationally Battlefiled continues with ‘Bad Company/ BF’ Series.
Battlefield 4 is believed to be releasing sometime in mid to late 2013.
