Insomniac Games and Marvel have dominated the gaming sales charts worldwide thanks to the absolutely phenomenal Spider-Man, which launched earlier this month.
The PlayStation 4 exclusive has smashed records left, right and centre, pushing God of War out of the way for the top stop of highest-selling PS exclusive, ever.
Now, since it became one of the biggest games of the year, Spider-Man fans have been wondering when Marvel will be developing more Marvel games – hopefully in the same style as this one.
It looks like their prayers have been answered though, as Marvel Games’ Executive Creative Director, Bill Rosemann tweeted about the future plans of the studio…
One of my fave parts of this video is when @bryanintihar talks about how Marvel’s Spider-Man is intended as “the Iron Man of Marvel video games,” which is exactly how we view it. As with that first MCU hit, #SpiderManPS4 kicks off a new era for Marvel console games. #BeGreater https://t.co/U1eHdZEmoe

“As with that first MCU hit, #SpiderManPS4 kicks off a new era for Marvel console games. #BeGreater,” Rosemann tweeted, sending Spidey-fans into a frenzy.
Marvel just said they’re making way more games after spider-man, and it looks like I’m finally buying a ps4

The tweet has some fans wondering about the exclusivity on the PlayStation 4, hoping that the future of Marvel and Insomniac Games titles won’t be locked to the Sony console.
I’m at 96 percent and love this game. But I’m hoping the future of Marvel Games isn’t completely locked into PS4.

Naturally, most of the MCU fans are looking for an Iron Man game, which – let’s face it – would be absolutely amazing.
With that in mind, these next 10 years are going to be a hell of a ride. 🔥 pic.twitter.com/TsVhgwxCvW

Which Marvel characters do you want to see get the Insomniac treatment?
