Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedly said that he “can’t wait to see” EverQuest Next on PlayStation 4. In an interview with GamerHubTV he teased that the , for now, PC and Mac only MMORPG could be coming to Sony’s new console.
“WE haven’t announced technically that we’re putting it on the PlayStation 4, but it’s fair to say that we’re a Sony company, so I say that with a smile on my face. Can’t wait to see it on PS4.”
The PlayStation 4 already boasts a few MMOs. DC Universe Online was a console launch title and PlanetSide 2 is set to come to it early in 2014.
EverQuest Next was revealed in August 2013 for PC and Mac. EverQuest Next beta signups are now open.
