Major League Gaming will be added to the upcoming ESPN X-Games. The tournament will be headed during the inaugural X-Games Austin this June. MLG is taking a big step to becoming a worldwide recognized sport.
Sports have changed over years. New sports are recognized and added while others are removed. One sport that is getting its first time appearance in ESPN’s X-Games is MLG. The tournament will bring in eight world’s best Call of Duty teams to compete for a medal.
That’s right video games are a category in the X-Games and footage of the tournament will be presented on ESPN though it’s unclear as to how much will be spent on the event. Nevertheless, MLG will be covering the three day tournament event. This is certainly an exciting day for MLG participants and gaming in general.
