It’s been a little over a week since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released, but that hasn’t stopped the latest entry in the Zelda series from receiving critical acclaim from various media outlets. With the amount of positive reception the game is receiving, many users are hard at work trying to run the game on PC.
Due to Breath of the Wild being exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and Wii-U, several developers are making a valiant effort on trying to make the game playable on the PC via emulator. Thanks to the Wii-U port of the game, players are able to emulate this version of the game. The emulator that can currently run Breath of the Wild is called CEMU and the creators of this emulator have hit several milestones in just a few short days.
Despite the developers not being able to play the full game on the PC yet, several screenshots of the emulated version of the game showcase Breath of the Wild running at 4K on PC, with one post on Reddit showing the difference in visuals between the Switch version and the emulated version. Based on the screenshots currently available on the online, it is safe to assume that a full version will be available on the PC in the near future.
