Epic Games has announced that Unreal Engine 4 will be revealed at GDC in San Francisco. Customers with select licenses, partners, and prospective customers will be the only ones receiving an invitation to see the presentation. The game engine has been in development since 2003 by Epic founder Tim Sweeney. It is very likely that it will support next generation consoles such as the PlayStation 4, Wii, Wii U, and the Xbox 360. Epic revealed to Develop that Unreal Engine 4 will support mobile games studios sooner than it did with the engine’s predecessor.
