This Witcher 3 Mod Lets You See The World From A First Person Pespective

The Witcher 3 set many benchmarks for future RPG’s (and games in other genres too) to match. It had a hugely expansive world, filled to the brim with vibrant colour, complex characters and enough quests to take you well past the 100 hour mark.

With the sheer amount of variety the game provides, there are little excuses needed to delve once more into the world of The Witcher. Then again, who would mind one more reason added to the stack already there?

That reason, specifically, is a first-person mod developed by SkacikPL. With it, you can travel through the world and see it just the way Geralt would. How cool is that? Check out some footage from it in the video below.

As you can see from the video, the graphics of the game are just as stunning as they were in third-person. If anything, the game becomes even more immersive as you flow through it as if it were your own set of eyes viewing the beauty of everything before you.

As wonderful as it is, there are still a few problems. SkacikPL has stated there are some technical issues to be worked through, including the fact that the mod only works with a keyboard and mouse currently, and cannot be used with controllers.

Along with this, the mod is completely useless for combat purposes. SkacikPL has mentioned that the performance is very poor, and due to his lack of understanding of some of the game’s programming (and a lack of free time), it’s unlikely he’ll get it to work. For now, it’s for exploration purposes only.

Despite the drawbacks, the mod is still a great thing to experience. It allows you a little bit of a fresh take on exploring through the game, and if there’s any game you’d want to spend time exploring, it’s this one.

If you have The Witcher 3 on PC, try it out for yourself. With the new perspective, you never know what things you might uncover that you might missed before.
