Pokemon Go fever hasn’t subsided yet. Everyone from all over the world is still talking about the game. However, the game has only been released in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and most of Europe, and is yet to be released in Asia (except Japan), Africa and South America.
Due to the widespread popularity of the game, the game has also seen numerous bugs and glitches, but players managed to come up with their own hacks that allow them to bypass some of the bugs.
One glitch that the players have been facing since the launch of the game is freezing of the Pokemon Go app while catching a wild Pokemon. This glitch brings in the risk of losing that Pokemon completely. However, the fans have now figured out a solution for this bug.
Poke Tip: When the app freezes on you during catching, this is how you can still get your Pokémon. RT to be aware! pic.twitter.com/8wyPop5Nok

A Pokemon Go fan account mentioned in Twitter that in situations when the app freezes while catching a Pokemon, the app needs to be closed completely and the phone should be switched into airplane mode.
After this is done, the app should be started back up again. The title screen will now show ‘No internet connectivity’ and then you must switch the airplane mode off. You should then find the Pokemon you were catching before the app froze in your Poke bag.
Hope this helps.
