Great news, Rick and Morty fans after a long wait there is finally a video game based on the popular Adult Swim cartoon. This new game is virtual reality and takes you into the Rick and Morty Universe.
According to Adult Swin, the upcoming game, cleverly titled, the Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality, is set to launch later this month.
In addition to Adult Swim, Owlchemy Labs has teamed up late night programming block to help create the Rick and Morty universe, where players will be able to play one of the two characters from the hit TV show.
“This is truly a dream project for us,” Owlchemy Labs explains in a recent statement. “We’ve been huge fans of the franchise since the beginning. Working with Justin Roiland is hilarious, and he gets us. In fact, we first met serendipitously over our mutual love of Job Simulator, got drunk, ate Indian food, and then decided to make a video game together. And now we’re bringing the world of Rick and Morty to virtual life!”
