Sony sued in a class-action lawsuit

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Sony Computer Entertainment America alleging consumers were misled with Killzone: Shadow Fall. The reason for the lawsuit is that Sony promised full 1080p for its multiplayer, which is something that many gamers questioned.

The lawsuit is in the name of Douglas Ladore, a gamer who “quickly noticed and complained that Killzone’s multiplayer graphics were blurry to the point of distraction.” Killzone: Shadow Fall used a technical technique called “temporal reprojection.” Ladore claims that this technique makes the game look like it is in 1080p but it was not. Ladore added that the game was a “unqualified 1080p.”

The class-action lawsuit is still pending and Sony has not released a statement since it is still pending.
