New spectacular looking Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots revealed, features new Protagonist

Everyone’s worst fears have come true, Rockstar Games confirmed today that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed.

The game will no longer be releasing in Fall 2017 and will now be releasing in Spring 2018.

However, the game might still make an appearance during E3 this year.

Rockstar wrote a lengthy post today on its blog explaining why it took this decision:

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to launch Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,” the team noted in its post. “This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.

We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer.

Rockstar is known to delay its game in order to ensure that the best possible experience is provided to the players. Therefore, this might actually be a blessing in disguise.
