Xbox Live head Major Nelson confirmed on Twitter that the title will be available on Xbox One come Friday.

Friday may be the ideal time to actually buy the game too, if you haven’t already, seeing as the Xbox Live Summer Sale is now well underway. Maybe Red Dead Redemption will find itself conveniently among the deals to come to the library.

This is sure to excite pretty much the entire gaming community, or at least those who actually own Xbox One consoles. Red Dead Redemption is highly respected by the entire industry, and rumors of a sequel run rampant among the gamer population.

Could this be a result of the rumored Sony/Rockstar mess up back during E3 2016? Apparently, a RDR sequel was supposed to be unveiled at the event, and perhaps a last minute decision was made to hold back on a sequel, hence driving the need for more content until its announcement.
