Mass Effect: Andromeda PC requirements are extremely demanding

EA has finally revealed the system requirements for its upcoming RPG game Mass Effect: Andromeda.

If you were expecting the game to go easy on your PC, you’re very wrong. The minimum requirements themselves are quite demanding and unless you own an i5 with at least 8 GB RAM, you can forget about playing the game. Did we mention you also need a powerful graphics card? Check out the entire list below –

The minimum:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Video Card: Nvidia GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
  • Hard Drive: At least 55 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11

And if you want to be the ultimate planter explorer, then you’ll need a even more powerful PC. We’re talking a GTX 1060 or higher powerful.

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GB
  • Hard Drive: At least 55 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11

The system requirements can be compared to EA’s last big release Battlefield 1 as they’re quite similar. The game releases on March 21 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
