J.K Rowling tweets about Harambe appearing as a Patronus before revealing sad truth

If you are wondering what a Patronus is, you are not a potterhead.

Patronus actually is a defensive charm. It produces protectors which are silvery-white in color and can take form of an animal to protect people from dementors: the large black smokey monsters that can literally suck out all the happiness from you.

Last thursday, popular Harry Potter website Pottermore launched a quiz regarding Patronus. This quiz lets the users to know their Patronus.

However, the whole thing got a buzz after Harry Potter author, JK Rowling re-tweeted an image of Harambe depicted as a Patronus.

Harambe has been one of the hot and trending topics on the internet. He was the gorilla whose death caused a massive outcry in the public. He was shot dead after a child fell into his enclosure at Cincinnati Zoo a couple of month ago.

Later she tweeted, “I’ve been asked to make it clear that Harambe is not a Patronus you can actually get on @pottermore. The previous RT is a joke. As you were.

” I thought it was very funny, btw,” she added.

Well, that sucks and one should not joke about these things since Harmabe is a legend. We kid. But it was still great to see our beloved Gorrila appear as a Patronus in our favorite childhood fantasy, even if it wasn’t real.
