It seems that players have been seriously busy so far in No Man’s Sky. It would make sense as the world in the game is huge, and there is a lot there to keep players occupied. It’s nearly endless. From a guy who gained an early copy of the game and claimed to have already beat it, to two players who found each other in the vast world but couldn’t actually seem to see one another – the game has been generating a gigantic amount of discussion. It’s only officially been out since the start of week, too.
One thing that has emerged which will interest players is a simple guide in order to acquire an Atlas Pass. This pass allows the player to unlock a lot of different doors and stations, and comes in very handy for players who are looking to make decent progress quickly.
Unlike most of the expendable materials that you come across in the game, the Atlas Pass is actually something that the player will need to further the game’s narrative. Eventually all of the players will have to acquire the pass, so here’s how it comes into the player’s possession:
- At a certain point in the game, the player will be asked to go to an Atlas Station.
- In the station, the player will gain more information about the secrets of the galaxy and a hidden group that seemingly holds some power over the galaxy.
- The player will then be given the first volume of the Atlas Pass.
- As the game’s narrative develops, players will then gain passes with higher levels.
Apparently, there is also a way to craft an Atlas Pass. It’s been reported that a combination of 25 Iron and 10 Heridium can be crafted together to produce an Atlas Pass.
However the player finds themselves in possession of an Atlas Pass, it seems to be a fundamental catalyst of progress in No Man’s Sky. It will also most likely allow the player to find certain Easter Eggs hidden around the game.
Sean Murray has stated before that there will be hidden Easter Eggs to find in the game. This will make players even more eager to search the vastness that is No Man’s Sky.
