It has been a long wait for next-gen Final Fantasy XIV, but Square Enix developer Tetsuya Nomura has been hard at work on the PlayStation 4 port of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
In an interview with Weekly Famitsu, Mr. Nomura said, “I wish that they would just let us off the hook,” he moaned. “For the player, having a game that’s ‘thoroughly made’ makes them excited with anticipation, but for a developer, it’s a hurdle that we have to overcome.”

But now the good news is that firstly a beta version of the game will be released along with the launch of PS4 in Japan on 22nd February 2014.
Secondly the final game will be launched in Japan on 14th April for PlayStation 4.
