What doctors found inside this woman’s head looks more like something you’d find crawling out of a necromorph in Dead Space than something you’d ever want to find inside of a person.
A woman in India woke up with a strange feeling in her head, described as a “tingling, crawling sensation” behind her eyes. Terrifying. This is nightmare fuel. Using an endoscope in her nasal passage, doctors were able to take a peek inside to see what was hiding inside of her face.
After identifying the creepy-crawler, they very carefully dug it out, but it wasn’t an easy task, that stubborn little guy didn’t want to go anywhere.
It was a cockroach, that had somehow found it’s way into her skull.
As terrible as that sounds, she’s lucky that she was woken up by the bug, because the alternative is much worse…
“If left inside, it would have died before long and the patient would have developed infection which would have spread to the brain,” said Dr. M. N. Shankar of the Stanley Medical College Hospital.
In other words, you might already have a dead cockroach rotting inside of your brain right now. Good luck, it was nice knowin’ ya.
Do you want to watch the roach squirm around inside as they try to pull it out? You can do that:
