UFC star Conor McGregor is fresh off of another stunning victory, this time handily knocking out his opponent Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden. He didn’t just win the fight, he picked Alvarez apart with boxing skills that can’t be ignored. Immediately after the fight, the ultimate question started to come up again, is the fight with retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. really going to happen? The seemingly impossible matchup has started to seem more and more likely, and Mayweather has perpetuated the rumor in the past by claiming the fight was on. McGregor is down to make it happen.
Floyd claims he didn’t even watch the fight and says McGregor isn’t on his level. Do you believe him?

With this much money at stake there is definitely work being done behind the scenes. “He wants it under boxing rules. He wants a boxing match. He doesn’t want a fight, Tell Floyd and Showtime, I’m coming. Tell him to go to them Showtime offices. I want $100 million cash to fight you under boxing rules cause he’s afraid of a real fight.” McGregor told TMZ sports.
