College Baseball Player Shot, Killed While Playing ‘Pokemon Go’ Near San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf

Several players have already been dealing with various accidents while playing Pokemon Go. Another unfortunate incident has occurred where a Pokemon Go player got shot and killed last weekend.

The victim, 20-year-old man Calvin Riley, was playing Pokemon Go near Fisherman’s Wharf, a popular tourist destination in San Francisco while the incident took place.

According to Sgt. Robert Jansing, a U.S. Park Police detective, the shooting took place at around 10 P.M. on Saturday in Aquatic Park, which is near the Ghirardelli Square in the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park.

He also added that Riley was taking a stroll down the seafront while playing Pokemon Go when he was shot at. The killer, however, didn’t take any of Riley’s property and didn’t try to rob him before shooting him.

Police are currently investigating on what might have led to the shooting.
