Bioshock Series Will Continue


Fans of the Bioshock series may be wondering what the status is for the franchise. Since the development studio, Irrational Games, has in fact shut down news was scarce on what will become of the beloved video game series. Take-Two Interactive has announced that the game series will continue.

Take-Two, Irrational Games parent company has announced that more video games within the Bioshock universe will be developed. News broke from Take-Two Interactive CEO Stauss Zelnick during GamesIndustry International.

“We haven’t talked about what’s going to happen to the franchise, but it’s beloved. Bioshock  has sold over 5 million units. Today, the franchise is in hands of 2K. More to come in the future.”

Since the last video game in the series, Bioshock Infinite has received its last DLC known as Burial at Sea there’s no word as to what will be next. However, back in E3 2011, a Bioshock video game was announced for the PS Vita. Since then, there has been no details for the PS Vita Bioshock video game.
