Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Shows Off 10 Minutes of Open World Footage

Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag Ship

Ubisoft has released more gameplay footage of their upcoming Assassin’s Creed game. This time it’s focusing on the open world activities that you can partake in between missions. From going to pirate bars and getting in brawls to diving underwater to find sunken treasure. The demo also explains that your actions will have consequences a la Grand Theft Auto’s wanted level.

The more piracy you commit in an area, the more your wanted level goes up to a maximum of 4. With a wanted level pirate hunters will come after you and you will have to fend them off. At the maximum wanted level you could end up taking on whole armadas of highly aggressive pirate hunters.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag hits the PS3 and other current generation platforms on October 29 in North America and November 1 across Europe. It’ll come to PS4 as a launch title.
