1. Motorbike

The first game to feature in this list is Motorbike. The game is so bad that it received a score of only 15 in Metacritic. The game is a mixture of really bad physics, a lot of bugs and worse levels. The hilarious thing about the game is that the motorbikes can also be driven in reverse.

To add to the woes, the game’s camera angles were downright poor. The camera keeps constantly splitting and unsplitting when you play the 2-player mode in the game. If you have in case spent $14.99 on this PlayStation 3 game, I have nothing but my sympathies for you.

2. NBA Unrivaled

The next game to be featured in this list is NBA Unrivaled. NBA Unrivaled is still regarded as the worst sports game ever made. The game scored a painfully low User Score of 0.6 for its PlayStation 3 version. You can imagine the pain of the people who bought it.

NBA Unrivaled actually looked like an arcade basketball game which would have well suited in the original PlayStation console. There is actually no such thing as artificial intelligence in the game and the players doesn’t have a single penny resemblance with their real life counterparts.

3. Fast and Furious: Showdown

Most of the video games based on movies are unable to live up to the expectations and Fast and Furious: Showdown is one of such games. The game which was released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was developed by Firebrand Games and published by Activision.

The game was released in 2013 and was flooded with negative reviews. The game felt like very cheap racer with no physics at all. The cut scenes in the game was very poor, the graphics was inexplicably bad and was full of bugs. The game didn’t even have any of the movie actors for voice over and Vin Diesel went completely missing from it. The game received a relatively low Metacritic score of 14.5.

4. Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade

I still have no idea why this game was ever made. The title of the game itself explains how the game would be and you can imagine the suffering of the people who tried playing it. The Wii U exclusive game was developed by Art Co. Ltd. and was published by D3 Publisher and was released in 2012.

The game consisted 30 mini games which were not that ‘great’ as the title suggests. The mini games were too lengthy for the liking and turned out to be boring at the end. Even the graphics of the game was really poor. Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade received a Metacritic score of 12 and was universally scolded by the media and the critics.

5. Ride to Hell: Retribution

The final game to feature in this list is Ride to Hell: Retribution. The game, which was released in 2013 was developed by Eutechnyx and published by Deep Silver for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Ride to Hell: Retribution is often termed as the worst game ever.

The game always felt unfinished and scratchy. The story of the game is very weak and the voice acting makes it even worse. To add to these the game had really poor audio, dumb AI, bad driving mechanics, objectification, bad combat etc.

The list is non exhaustive and for some stupid reasons the motorcycles in the game keeps on exploding. The game received a really really poor composite Metacritic score of 11 and I hope that explains it all.
